Baden_wuerttemberg-The state borders on Switzerland and France. The principal cities are: Freiburg, Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Tuebingen,Heidel-berg. The rhine forms the border to France and the black forest rises east of the rhine valley. Culinary treats are the blackforest ham and cake, winemaking and the local cuisine. The blackforest is also famous for its kuckuckclock. The Kaiserstuhl features one of the warmest climates in Germany. This and the good soil makes it an excellant wine growing region.
